My Dr. Floras Colon Cleanse Experience

Hi everyone,

This is my very first blog post and it's on kind of a gross topic, but one that's really important! Most of you guys already know I'm really into health and nutrition and taking care of myself. I try to work out at least 3 times a week and am always reading stuff about how to stay healthy. Lately, I've been hearing a lot about colon cleansing and how it's linked to your overall health. The gist of it is that having a yucky, blocked up colon can lead to bad health and causes symptoms like headaches and fatigue, so it's important to do a colon cleanse now and again in order to keep your system working at its best. I've been wanting to try a colon cleanse myself, so I did a lot of research online and decided to try Dr. Floras Colon Cleanse because it uses a lot of natural ingredients to do the job without laxatives. I started this blog to keep track of what happens during my 15 day cleanse - the good, the bad, and the ugly. It's recommended that first time users do a 30 day cleanse, but I don't want to spend that much time using a product without knowing it works! Plus, I just graduated from college and need to budget wisely. Anyway, here goes..........

Days 1, 2, and 3

Okay, I started the cleanse. The colon cleanse comes in powder form that I mix into a glass of water and take 3 times a day, making sure to wait a couple of hours before or after meals before taking my next dose. After reading the FAQ page on the Dr. Floras Website, I found out I could also mix the powder into juice, so sometimes I'll use apple juice instead of water. I haven't noticed any changes so far, but I didn't really expect to. Before I forget, I should probably mention that I've been feeling a little run-down lately, which is part of the reason I started this cleanse. Maybe it's because of how busy I am, but I've pretty much always had a hectic schedule. Actually, I've always LIKED being super busy. I get bored easily and don't like to sit still for long. This is the first time I can remember actually wanting things to slow down a bit. Then again, I've been having a little trouble sleeping lately, so maybe that's why I feel so lazy. Whatever the reason, I still feel a bit run-down after starting the cleanse.

Days 4, 5, and 6

Still nothing major to report, but I have noticed that my bowel movements seem to be a bit more "fluffy" than usual. I don't know if it means anything, though, and I feel about the same as before.

Days 7, 8, and 9

What a difference a day makes! As soon as I woke up on Day 7 I knew it was going to be a good day. For the past 3 days, I've felt refreshed and well-rested for the first time in almost 6 months. I'm not sure if it's because of the cleanse, but either way I love how good I feel!

Days 10, 11, and 12

I'm continuing to feel more energetic and refreshed, and on Day 11 I passed my first mucoid plaque. I can't believe I'm writing this, but I felt strangely excited when I saw it because it was proof that the colon cleanse was working and the built-up toxins were being removed from my body. The thought of reaching into the toilet and photographing the results grosses me out, but trust me when I tell you I noticed results! For those of you who need to see it to believe it, view the results of others at the Dr. Floras Website.

Days 13, 14, and 15

Still feeling good, and I've passed more mucoid plaques - one in the morning on Day 13, TWO on Day 14, and another one this morning, Day 15. I still have one more dosage to take before I'm done, but I'm close enough to the finish line of my 15 day cleanse to feel confident about concluding this post. I definitely think this cleanse was beneficial - in fact, I've already ordered more colon cleanse, and even convinced my roommate to try it when I do the cleanse again next month (luckily our apartment has two bathrooms.) My high energy levels have returned and I feel great knowing that I am ridding myself of all the junk that was polluting my body. I'm concluding this diary of my cleanse experience for now, but I'll give you an update when I start again next month! To be continued............
